And of course, she and her fellow ban supporters deny the economic impact of a smoking ban.

If government was to declare no smoking in its facilities, then so be it. If a restaurant owner decides that his place of business will allow smoking, then that’s his right, as well. If patrons and potential employees don’t want to patronize a place that allows smoking, they have the right to go somewhere else," he said.
PA: Court sides with police on smoking, smoke 'em if you got 'em. The justices ruled that municipal officials cannot ban officers from smoking in police cars or using smokeless tobacco in non-public workplaces unless the ban is part of a collective bargaining agreement.

UK: Smoking ban extension that would outlaw lighting up outside pubs is axed. The last government had proposed enlarging ‘smoke-free’ zones to include the areas around building entrances, but this has been shelved.
