Be A Good Smoker:

Be a good smoker.  Enjoy the pleasure from your smoking experience; do not let it control you.

1.- Smoke appropriately.  If smoking is a pleasure, why make a vice out of it?

2.- Enjoy a healthy relationship with tobacco during your life.  Smoke consciously.

3.- Don’t smoke the cigarette to the filter.  The best filter is the tobacco itself.

4.- Tobacco is a symbol of friendship. Do not make it uncomfortable for your non-smoking friends.

5.- Quit if you want to.

6.- Do not give in to excess, because of the enjoyment.  Everything in excess is bad.  Enjoy more of the tobacco, putting it into suitable limits.

7.- When in a no-smoking allowed area, demonstrate that you are considerate, and show your tolerance.  Extinguish your cigarette, pipe, or cigar.

8.- Smoking is for informed and responsible adults, not for children.  Do not allow children to smoke.

9.- Do not litter with your cigarette butts.  Dispose of them properly extinguished.  Avoid a dangerous situation.

10.- Tobacco helps you to concentrate, as well as many other things.

Do Not Be A Bad Smoker:

Smoking is a pleasure until you allow it to stop being one.  You are the one with the will and common sense, not the cigarette.  Do not be a bad smoker.

1.- Do not chain smoke.  If you do, you do not get to enjoy the flavour of the smoke.

2.- Do not smoke fast.  Be kind to your stomach and do not upset it.

3.- Do not smoke while having a meal. If you do, you ruin the taste of both the food and the smoke.

4.- Do not light a cigarette, inhale three times and extinguish it, wait for a few minutes and light it again. You will ruin the flavour of the cigarette.

5.- Do not stop smoking a cigarette when it is half way done. Continue, this way it will begin to burn what filtered the same tobacco during the first half of the smoke.

6.- Do not worry about others. If the smoke bothers them, who asked them to sit by your side?

7.- Do not inhale deeply and not release the smoke.  Do not allow the cigarette to burn to the end. If you do, the cigarette will get hot, causing a burning sensation in your mouth, on your tongue and lips, and fingers.

8.- Do not, when you smoke in the forest or on the beach, throw the butt on the ground. Maybe, besides being a bad smoker and a slob, you may manage to turn into arsonist.

9.- Do not smoke while doing physical exercises. If you want to turn into a bad smoker, run, ride a bicycle, or go for a long walk, while smoking a cigarette.

10.- Do not keep smoking at bed time.  Do not risk burns and fire to your property and yourself.

Remember to enjoy the pleasure of smoking; do not let it control you.  Tolerance comes from good smokers, and good non-smokers.
